What production activities have you done?
For a time, i created youtube videos, i had several accounts, which had reviews, montages and game plays and blogs
made prelim posters, magazines and trailers for AS
Poster, magazine and trailer for A2
What digital technologies have you used?
facebook
twitter
photoshop
final cut
sony vegas pro
word
powerpoint
garageband
blogger
quicktime
grab
audacity
image capture
indesign
safari
In what way has the work you've done be described as creative?
it could be seen as creative as most of the work was done by myself and i made it myself using my own thoughts and ideas to create. Not using any other persons opinion.
What different forms of research have you done?
the research i would have to of done is that i could have looked on google images to see whether my work is like the professional work. other research i could have done is making surveys and getting audience research feedback in order to make my work as good as it can be.
What conventions of media did you need to know about?
These are very simple things i would have learnt, for example it would be soundtracks, titles, images. For posters, i know that every magazine, needs a barcode, it needs a sell line, it needs to advertise other products, it needs to have a selling point for example using a competition.
What do you understand by 'post-production' in your work?
Post production is after i have filmed or got the key points done on my product and i am now, adding small details to get the work finished. For example in my trailer. Once i have finished filming i would then go on to create the inter titles for the trailer using after effects and photoshop. With the posters and magazines, i would finish taking images then i would go on to adding overlays, such as sell lines product placements and barcodes etc.

Initial Skills
At this point in the year, I feel that i am comfortable with the majority of softwares I will be using during the A2 year, this is because i did the moving image in AS and so i have had experience with film software. for example Sony Vegas and Final Cut.
During the course of the year i also started creating Youtube videos, thius allowede me to revise my video editing skills and allow me to experiment with adding different sounds and getting to know photoshop and Sony VEgas a little better than i learned at school
To improve my skills on Photoshop further i went on Youtube and watched numerous tutorials on how to do certain tricks, such as, adding colour to black and white photos.
My skills in Indesign are somewhat basic as i didn't get a chance to practice in the last year because i didn't take the magazine cover course.
My photoshop skills are fair but i could be good with it with some more practice. As i understand how it works i just haven't used it in a while.
